Leisters' innovative Passive Lock is a compassionately-designed locking mechanism that helps to prevent inappropriate access to the items contained inside the furnishing.

The Passive Lock functions similarly to a child-proof cap on a bottle. In order to open the lock, the user presses it inward, releasing the shaft, which then must be turned counter-clockwise to allow access.

The Passive Lock is another of Leisters' innovations aimed at improving functionality in the managed care environment.
